My great-grandfather, Frederick “Fritz” Peschel, immigrated to New York City in 1925 from Germany. He was a baker. My grandfather, or Papa, used to say that when someone gives you a recipe, you’ll always think of that person every time you make it. He was absolutely right.

Peschel’s organic cheesecakes are crafted by hand in the European tradition for unsurpassed flavor and texture. If it can’t be made by hand or with basic kitchen equipment, then we don’t make it. Minimal processing ensures exceptional quality.

I’m thrilled you’re here! I’ve been cooking and baking for friends and family for over 20 years.
Cheesecake brings me joy. It makes me think about my grandparents and great-grandparents and riding around on my Papa’s tractor as a kid. It also reminds me of all the times spent hanging out in the kitchen with friends and family laughing and talking for hours.
My cheesecakes celebrate the wholesome goodness of the European culinary tradition. I’ve expanded our family recipe to include a breadth of flavors inspired by my travels through Europe and Latin America. Every slice is a piece of tradition crafted for a modern palate.
I invite you to give my cheesecakes a try, and I hope they warm your heart as much as they do mine.

Our Next Order Deadline is
April 11th, 2025
Our next ship date is Monday, April 14th so we need your orders by end of day on Friday, April 11th. We make everything to order, so get those orders in, we'll make them over the weekend, and we'll get them on their way to you! Remember, cakes ship frozen and can be stored in freezer up to 3 months, once defrosted they last 5 days in the fridge. Always store in the fridge or freezer.

We will be popping up at Pro Kitchen Hub Tampa next to the Bakery Box located at 5224 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa FL 33611. Stop on by from 9am - 2pm to grab some cakes. We stock minis and a limited number of 6" cakes for pop-up days.
